Mpumalanga
has over 550 bird species, 3 Birding Routes and 12 Important
Bird Areas. The 'Greater Panorama' and 'Lowveld' Birding Routes
are within easy reach of Porcupine Ridge offering a variety
of habitats from sub tropical bushveld to high forests and
grasslands.
Closer to home, our own garden birds include Knysna
Turaco, African Green Pigeon, Southern Boubou, Greater Double
Collared Sunbird and Red-Throated Wryneck.
We have an extensive
'birding' library and free Bird Route maps. We are very flexible
about breakfast times for fellow birders or will supply you
with a tasty packed breakfast by arrangement.
